Not only is it eplus, it appears to be smartphone ticket only. Which means you need the specific smartphone that was used to buy the ticket…
My chances of going dramatically decreased…

If you have Google play, it’s easy. Simply create a new Google play account via a Japanese vpn, and then you can install the app. That’s how I got mine
I can get the app, but you need a Japanese phone number to register for eplus, right?
having both despa and 9gbo back, nature is healing ![]()

Omgomgomgomg this can’t be reeeeeallll
(also totally okay with KEEL coming back Jrock gods wink wink)
Ryo posted a statement about the reasons. tl;dr:
To avoid any misunderstanding, I should mention that this is not a reunion.
We are simply holding a concert to mark our 20th anniversary.
https://x.com/9GOATS2027/status/2096916396886421536
The whole statement:
"Why is 9GOATS so special to me?
It’s because that period coincided with various losses.
I had been pushing forward recklessly with GULLET, only for it to end in a breakup.
Of course, I harbor absolutely no hard feelings about that,
but I had firmly given up on being in a band.
And yet, here I am, back again.
That’s thanks to uta and hati.
Just as we were launching and getting things moving, my father was diagnosed with esophageal cancer.
He fought the illness, but eventually passed away.
I’ve written about this in past blog posts, so please read those if you can.
I believe I was around 30 years old at the time.
For someone who had been thinking, ‘I’m going to go all-out with this band!’
resuming a band career I’d already quit felt a bit like,
‘What on earth am I doing, starting this up again after turning 30?’
I definitely felt that way.
But ultimately, I realized there was nothing else that could take its place.
With that realization, I turned my circumstances at the time into an opportunity to restart my band activities in Tokyo.
Now, I don’t want to simply leave the story of 9GOATS—which was cut short while our dreams were still unfolding—frozen in time.
Driven by that feeling, and with the milestones of my own 50th birthday and the band’s 20th anniversary approaching,
I solidified my resolve to make a return to the stage happen.
This was also heavily influenced by the passing of Mr. Yamamoto, a PA engineer who had supported me greatly—something I’ve mentioned before.
There are major catalysts and reasons within me that led to this decision,
but if I don’t put them into words, it just becomes a case of ‘please just read between the lines.’
In a business setting, I could express the full extent of my feelings through presentation slides or by getting approval on a proposal,
but doing that during an MC on stage is difficult." To be honest, when I first started posting long blog entries,
I hesitated, worried I’d expose myself as a rather shallow person—haha.
But regardless, there’s always a starting point for any action,
And expecting people to “get on board” without showing them that foundation is just too much to ask.
That’s why I’ve decided to touch upon these topics from time to time.
(Omitted)
Now, I’ll continue the story about 9GOATS and next year.
In recent years, people who supported me, people I admired, and people who were kind to me—
So many have passed away. I even faced the prospect of my own imminent death
When I had a massive colon polyp and couldn’t stop bleeding.
Having felt like I was dying so many times, I’m not really afraid of death itself anymore;
In fact, I’ve come to view this time now as a “bonus stage” in life.
After my father passed away, the world I sang about in 9GOATS centered on a specific theme:
“The human heart in the wake of loss.” To put it simply: death.
A returning musician, now entering middle age, singing seriously about death.
Why do people leave us?
Why does their absence leave us feeling so lonely?
This theme resonated with me far more than the usual songs about romance or love.
And I, who used to find singing love songs too embarrassing,
Came to view death as something close and personal through the music and lyrics of 9GOATS,
Eventually learning to write love songs that conveyed the message: “We cherish what we have now precisely because we can lose it.”
That perspective has become the foundation for the music I create today.
9GOATS—that vital wellspring of creativity for me—eventually chose to disband.
Of course, I wanted to keep going, but a band can’t survive on desire alone.
I felt that if we didn’t do it at that moment, we might never get the chance again.
Driven by that thought, I consulted the other members, saying, “I want to do this just one more time.”
After all, anyone could be gone by today, or I might lose the ability to sing myself.
We’ve seen so many of those “unthinkable” things happen in recent years. To avoid any misunderstanding, I should mention that this is not a reunion.
We are simply holding a concert to mark our 20th anniversary.
Wow, that was beautiful. Really love his mind.
Sucks this isn’t a real revival, but hopefully it will motivate them enough to consider starting up again. They were really something special.
How does this relate to B7Klan? Was there already an announcment that they will repeat the festival?
It doesn’t.
Just thought of an analogy to Despa reuniting and then being invited to B7Klan.
And Versailles, I guess?
one day, i’ll be able to fully articulate how much 9gbo means to me (which would pale in comparison to ryo’s words lol)…but again, i’m just thankful i lived long enough to see another beloved band reunite, even briefly! ![]()
I’m not even seeing it on eplus?
Fanclub only right now.
You can sign up for fanclub without a Japanese account, but not eplus.
Love ryo’s words on 9goats’s music emerging in the context of grief and loss
This is their first ever pic, not a new one!
Tried to create a Japanese google account to be able to access an E+ account a friend made me from Tokyo, but no dice… Why everything is always so complicated ugh?
EDIT : THEY OPENED IT TO FOREIGNERS
Now fingers crossed to be selected!
Does anyone have the Eplus link?
They were one of a kind. Unique.
Have to admit, Ryo’s words are very touching
