9GBO revival is rumored for May 30th at Zepp Shinjuku

Support: kazu (Bass, ex Kagerou), akaya (keys, former support member of 9gbo) , Hiroshi sasabuchi (drums,ex Plastic tree)

So it will basically be Ryo and Uta from the original members.

Hati will not be part of it. I think I’ve read a while ago that he moved abroad years ago.

Edit: Apparently the date and members were announced at ryo’s solo gig tonight.

Holy moly! I’d really love to see this band come back and release new material. Admittedly it’s a bit sad seeing that hati won’t be involved, but I’d love to hear new stuff from uta and ryo together regardless.

It’s a limited revival, but I don’t think they said it was for this concert alone. My bet is that they’ll be active for a year, to mark their 20th anniversary.
