Okay friends i got a couple not mentioned. Im probably just going to post ones that will turn 20 as of this year if that’s okay 
(I type this while feeling old even tho i was like 9 or 10 years old when these albums came out

12012 - PLAYDOLLs (Type A + B) [2006-02-01]
This album was around a time when the band went soft. However still a handful of song that are a nice jam. I appreciate some of the work put into this album. There are interesting vocals done in some point that sort make him sound like Byo (鋲) from Screw. If you havent heard this album yet i recommend it to folks 
DEATHGAZE - Genocide and Mass Murder [2006-07-20]
This album was the beginning of many deathgaze songs that would be later re-recorded by Ai (藍). Such classic’s would be those hidden gems you would find in deathgaze’s discography. What i found interesting about this particular recording of this. At the time vocalist Sou (宗) would use a bit more cleans then screams compared to the version Ai (藍) made. Overall an amazing album and well deserved re-records.
MUCC - 6 [2006-04-26]
God this album was interesting. Some tracks resonate with me other were a interesting experiment in my book. Overall hands down Kuukyo na heya is the most memorable track on the album. This was their continuation of solidifying their Loud-kei sound which they helped pioneer back in 2003.
What i always found cool about this band is how i can shift focus into different styles while still carrying loud-kei along. They do this by making separate albums sometimes multiple albums in the same year.

Anima by NIGHTMARE turns 20 this month. If you haven’t listened to this album yet, do it! Not a single skip on this thing and it’s NIGHTMARE at their peak (imo)! Got to attach the best song of the album here!

UVERworld’s Timeless turns 20 this year, fucked up. Their run of albums from debut until 2012 were honestly unmatched, but this one has a special place in my heart.

Pimp of the Year just turned twenty today and, to me at least, is an album that actually feels twenty.
My favorite of their first three albums, probably because the jazzy bastards found their stride and made their most consistent record yet—yet! There’s enough variety from track to track that there’s at least something for everyone here.
I’ll probably say this every time, but I had a hard time picking just one song from the album. Thankfully this video perfectly captures how it feels to listen to Pimp of the Year.

Lareine - Imperial Concerto
This one is only a compilation album but it was among the first works for me that got me into Lareine back then. It consists of some of the best songs of their latter, often overlooked period and spawned some killer new tunes.
D - Tafel Anatomie
Legendary album. This to me proves that D were able to pull anything of, even without fancy orchestrations (don’t get me wrong, I love their dolled up oeuvre as well). This album has a perfect flow and the musicianship from each of them is something else.

Happy 20th birthday to emmurée’s 灰色, an EP that feels much larger than its short runtime thanks to its expansive, brooding sound. These guys are one of the best acts to ever do it, and as far as I’m concerned, sound pretty unique among their peers.

What a remarkable year 2006 was. Here are some of my favorites, most of which feel like summer to me, especially heidi. Their first couple of releases, up through イノセンス, were pure gold. I miss those times.
