I can only use translator, but it was a gig with mama who currently don’t have a drummer, so does いいバンドかどうか分からないけど、前に出てくるので mean, that he is joining mama?? (probably not)
I wish Sakura would replace Allen…
to me this reads more like “we don’t know if his band will be good, but he’ll still be apprearing on [stage]” (as a performing artist as opposed to only working behind the scenes)
Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of support drummers like him, constantly looking at the score on their left. For example: Shuji (Janne Da Arc) and Hibiki (MATENROU OPERA). I don’t know if this is a good or bad thing, but it’s incredibly distracting when I see them performing.
It just that they have to mémorize many many songs if they are session drummer for many projects

I think I read that Allen and someone from sick2 or shellmy were doing some side project together or something.
Yes Allen is halfu! He’s probably born and bred in Japan as I recall he posted about a Japanese guidebook to the Pokemon Red gameboy game from his childhood. (wait was it yellow? The one with Pikachu on the cover)

I think it was just something they happened to mention during the gig since they have been having plenty of twomans for this part of the tour so it mighttt not be specific to mama :)) (but hey maybe a surprise coming up!)
If I remember correctly he helped with the drums at least in Zekuu and Kuchiki No Tou, plus Miya also worked with Zigzo and other projects. But is more a wish than reality, Sakura has too many works 
I thought he fit really well with them. Damn.
