I was wondering how much I’m going to miss D following their hiatus/disband… and judging by Asagi’s solo support lineups and (moreso) Ruiza’s recent epic mini, the vampire yaoi traveling carnival circus band should stay put for a very long time… like give us 10th disband anniversary 1 coin single, and don’t come back after that

I think the oyaji bassist you meant is none other than Hajime Okano, who’s known for producing and contributing to tons of great albums, artists,…you name it.
D, L’Arc~en~Ciel, Dead End, Nanase Aikawa, MUCC, Cascade, La’cryma Christi…many many names and he had an invisible yet a huge hand helping them out.
