Blaze Ba.Uta has departed

Funny considering the bass was never the problem there

Not true. That re-recorded song came out with the “Luminous” maxi single, which was released before Uta left. Please be more careful with the info you post.

Furthermore, it’s a song that Mio composed a year ago.

but it’s the fact that they’re rerecording a song they released just months ago when uta was with the band, that’s what’s really weird

They didn t re-record it after Uta left. That re-recording was done months ago and it was already sold physically in November/December with Uta on it. They just put the same material on streaming now. There isn’t a “new” re-recording post-Uta, it’s literally the same release.

really feeling for Uta and hoping he is able to play in a band that appreciates him.

he really blamed Uta’s presence for not wanting to sing? that’s mad weird of Mio

You’re misreading the statement. Mio never said he couldn’t sing because Uta was there. What he said was that he couldn’t sing the way he wanted within the band’s artistic direction, which is a completely different thing. He even thanked Uta and said he wouldn’t have been able to sing in BLAZE without him. If the message was “Uta blocked me,” the ending wouldn’t be apologies, gratitude and well-wishes.

My apologies for the mistake!:folded_hands:

But as @suji said the timing for this rerelease, from a months ago’s distributed song (and since the demo(?) last version of this song has exactly the same cover as the single) it’s easy to connect the dots in the wrong way.

I’ll write a fictional scenario that’s complete fiction so absolutely don’t take this as truth or speculation. Just fiction to illustrate a point of there being many more possible scenarios to public-facing signs like these that don’t have to resolve to everyone hating eachother or secret plans or comic book evil labels (aren’t these guys independent anyway?)

one could easily imagine a band of five guys where genuinely no one hates eachother. Then imagine one guy, while well enough liked, for whatever reason, physical, mental, whatever, isn’t capable of showing up in the same way as the others. Maybe amongst the others he has strong advocates for his artistry/skills/personality; maybe amongst the others some are most concerned with reliability of a group.

Then it’s not hard from there to imagine such a (fictional) band coming to the conclusion that they can’t move as they, the majority, aim to, while also keeping on someone with difficulties or inconsistencies.

So one could then imagine an ousted member with the worst feelings as his is the worst experience, and a range of messaging from corporate reassurance to emotional “i’ll miss my friend” takes which seem of very different moods despite ultimately converging on the same not-exactly-explained goal.

You could write a bunch of complete fictions like that which don’t need a bad guy or secret schemes to make plausible sense, so me personally i like to fill in the blanks in my head this way unless there’s really a reason not to

I have nothing against Uta whatsoever and do feel this is somewhat unfair to him from what I can tell, but he really isnt a great bass player so…..

Well, only Mio knows what Mio means so you can’t really say I’m misreading the statement. First, these types of statements are vague for a reason and never the full truth, so some reading between the lines is needed which is why anyone’s take on a statement is their interpretation, not necessarily 100% accurate. That being said, Mio said in Japanese:

“If Uta hadn’t been there, I probably would not have been able to sing as BLAZE.” He said this because Uta formed BLAZE and was the leader. But you can be thankful to someone for one thing, and blame them for something else. Both can be true. He goes on to say "but before I knew it, I was no longer able to sing.”

That is literally all he said. Whether you take that as he didn’t like Uta’s direction is your interpretation. But he literally said, that while he was thankful that Uta formed BLAZE with him, before he knew it he could no longer sing. It’s implied it’s because of Uta, since this is a statement about why they kicked him out. He follows by saying that he suffered and thought hard about it but that this (kicking Uta out) was the only answer- again, regarding him no longer being able to sing.

Higher up in the text he also says that even thought no one wanted this outcome, he refuses to betray the friends who are supporting him in this life (considering the fact that he starts by saying “even though no one wanted this outcome, it seems he is NOT talking about Uta being part of his friends here, but rather, his other bandmates/roadies/staff). He goes on to say “I also will not forgive anyone who tries to destroy those friends. I absolutely cannot destroy my own truth.” Esentialy in this paragraph he is saying he chose to kick Uta out to protect his friends/bandmates.

So I mean, see it however you want but it’s pretty clear he accuses Uta of 1. “destroying his truth” 2. “hurting his allies” and c. being the reason he could no longer freely sing in BLAZE.

You’re free to disagree with my interpretation but IMHO it’s as close as it’s gonna get and considering the fact that they did not remain friendly and that Uta says he was kicked out when he was the leader and the one who formed the band, it had to be a pretty bad ending and again- same thing happened with NAZARE and how Mio “couldn’t sing” so seems to be a pattern except last time it was Issei’s fault.

saw him in the guest crowd at cali gari last night

What can we expect this lead to?

Fully decked out in his usual VK style? Or a more casual version? If that exists. Haha.

I have never seen a visual kei musician decked out in visual kei or even anything loud off the stage. They’re usually in baggy sweats, unbrushed hair and bucket hats (of course no make up).
