5 days ago Blaze released a statement about Ba. Uta abesense due heatlh reasons (influenza).
Today, however, fans noticed an abrupt change of Uta’s username, and how he and the rest of the band members unfollowed each other.
Anything else is being disclosed ATM by the members or by fans…
That’s not a good look…
Well they probably have woth lanju a soon good replacement for him. But this sorta develope lent could as well mean that bad bad things happened in the back.
Another very promising project that faces problems just like that… not even 3 months since they started.
I like Uta from what I’ve seen of him as a person but as a bassist he’s not someone who would be missed skill wise. Lanju is definitely the superior bassist if they can snag him full time.

As of today, I will be leaving BLAZE.
I got a call from the members last night and they told me they wanted me to quit.
I couldn’t accept it, but there were some things I wasn’t happy about, so I accepted it.
Above all, I’m truly sorry to everyone who has supported me and the band since the start.
I’m also sorry that I couldn’t perform on stage at the end.
As for the tour, I’ve asked for a refund for tickets since I won’t be performing.
Since it was so sudden, I haven’t decided what I’ll do next, but I love music and I’ll do my best to get back on stage.
I’d appreciate it if you could wait for me for a little while longer.

one of my dreams is at one point to form a group with some friends together. But I probably stop after that group disbanded the kind of odd power dynamics of members from different disbanded projects pushed together would have would be so akward and frustrating to work with meanwhile you also would have to act all the time like being best buddy with each other.

First of all, we would like to apologize to all our fans who always support us and to all those involved for the concern and inconvenience caused by this announcement.
This year we aimed for even greater heights and had high hopes for us to achieve great things as a group of five, so I am deeply saddened that we will no longer be able to continue our musical activities as a group of five.
I met Uta-kun, we decided to form a band together, and we gathered our friends and that was the beginning of the band BLAZE, so I sincerely hoped that if possible, we would be able to continue working together for a long time to come without any of the five of us missing.
It hasn’t been that long since we started, but it’s already been over a year since we decided to form a band together, and we’ve made lots of memories as important friends, sometimes fighting, sometimes comforting and supporting each other.
From now on,
It is sad and lonely that we can no longer run in the same direction, but I would like to continue working with the responsibility of carrying the memories we shared and the dreams we dreamed together.

First of all, we would like to sincerely apologize to all our fans for the sad news this brings.
After many discussions, this decision was made for the sake of our future. I personally wanted to continue with BLAZE as a group of five until the day I died, so I am truly saddened from the bottom of my heart.
Since the five of us came together, I had been supporting each other behind the scenes to prevent this from happening, but I had to avoid an even more tragic outcome than this, so it was a difficult decision for me to make.
I asked Uta if we could somehow get on stage together as five one last time, but it didn’t come true. I’m so sorry, I didn’t have enough strength.
But even so, we at BLAZE will not stop moving forward. Sawa, NERO, and Hotaru all stand on the stage with determination.
I’ve put my life on the line too. I’ve studied and practiced more than anyone else, endured the unreasonable things, and poured my life into music until today.
So, I hope you will keep an eye on BLAZE in the future.

As we continued to move forward as a band, there were some areas where we just couldn’t agree as members and as musicians, and this is how it ended.

Regarding ticket refunds for the Rokudo tour due to Uta’s withdrawal, we are currently in the process of coordinating with various parties, so please wait a little while longer for an announcement.

This sorta talk turns me insane. What is it now?
You never know if they self victimise or actually tell the truth when they don’t fucking say anything. Are you friends? Has he betrayed you? Was he just not available too often? The worst thing they will talk the same way when a person is an ass or has done something downright illegal.
The one who seems most affected is Mio, like a betrayal feeling, whereas Hotaru is super distant. practically a PR message. wild.
This feels like either a miscommunication issue or a failing out with uta and the band itself, although im not 100% sure what happened.
Not saying whos wrong or right in this situation because i dont fully know what happened. However based on how Uta had a health condition, and reading these comments, from my perspective, it seems like potentially one of these two reasons i mentioned above could have contributed to him basically getting fired? (If im reading Uta’s statement correctly.)
Mio being affected the most because he has been with Uta since Nazare, which is a lot of years of working together. I honestly wish the best for all members involved regardless of what happened.
I totally get what you mean and feel no further informed after reading all the statements what the situation actually is. Just that it seems Uta and the other guys were no longer compatible as a unit which we already know as he has left/been fired from the band. Talk of saying everything but saying nothing….
Why not just say “he was being a dickhead behind the scenes which was causing problems for the band so we booted him” or “I left because the other members wouldnt let me get involved in writing as much as id like and often dismissed my ideas so im not happy or feel like a part of the band anymore” or just an actual succinct reason whatever it is…. Lol.
An easy one could be that they were sick of him being sick all the time and wanted someone more reliable.
Then just say so instead of pussyfooting around the matter and basically chatting a load of balls. Haha.

Ba.みか (mika) (Co’COON) will perform as support on 1/21 at their live at Otsuka Hearts+.
That’s kinda odd timing considering the fact that Mio just missed a show because he was sick himself. In his comment, he mentioned how he stopped being able to sing recently because of Uta’s presence. But in his previous band Naraze he basically blamed his mental breakdown that led to no longer being able to sing and having a long hiatus on the other members (not Uta) as well. Seems like a common theme and he might want to look inward to fix that rather than blame the band member he has the longest relationship with at the time. I foresee that Mio will continue to have issues with the remaining members and that the band won’t make it another year but who knows. It’s too bad, he’s a great vocalist.
