To the GP, Buck-Tick is Atsushi Sakurai. But I think most fans can understand how this makes sense. I never expected them to stop making music right away, I mean these are people who have been working at the rate of 1 album every 2 years or so since the late 80’s. Plus, they spent 35+ years with the same formation. It’s jarring to see them release something without Sakurai, but at the same time Buck-Tick belongs to them just as much, and they surely have a more accurate idea of how Sakurai would have liked to be honored.

If it really is meant as a second part to Izora, the release will most likely be very good. Izora was brilliant.

I don’t know if I’m ready for this. Announced nearly a year after his passing.
It’s not that I won’t love it. I’m sure I will.
But I’m not sure how much I’ll cry trying to listen. Sakurai’s passing his my fiance and I like a truck.
So I’m a little scared to approach those emotions again. But God damn it, it’s probably going to be an amazing album.

Abracadabra and Izora got vinyl releases, I wonder if this will get one too, cause if so I want to get one

So far, so good. But what about those audio samples!

And how do we think a music video is going to go?

If I had to bet, this will be an “Imai song”, like Future Song, Villain, Tango Swanka or Dada Disco

Almost every album there is one, and they usually are exoteric high energy rock songs. They are gimmicky songs, but in this circumstances it’s probably a safe choice

I could accept the artwork without the members pics… Without Atsushi it’s a kind of hole/something is missing. I guess they want mean that as an outrage :expressionless:

Covers are kind of a mess with all that extra stuff going on, but I like the stark monochromatic member photos as concept. Reminds me of their 1st indies single “TO-SEARCH” cover a bit (where only Atsushi was present :')).

Wowza, huge album (even counting those 3 instrumental tracks)! Also, if I’m not misaken this is the first time Imai and Hoshino collaborated with each other on songs in a lyricist+composer setup (for unfortunate reasons obviously…).

The cover art is very pretty as well.
