I don’t know how to feel. It’s been five years since Dystopia?

After 1 year and 9 months they will release just a single with the new label but i hope they decide to release a FULL ALBUM in 2027.

I don’t even care about this band, I just want them to make me forget Song for the Weak

Its hard to be hyped for this band. Their last singles sucked so hard/were painfully generic. One more shty title track and my advice to them is to focus on that seven eleven career.

Would be interesting to hear why the label even picked them up… :grimacing:
They have already been given way too many chances.

Like a lot of bands, they had their peak and are now on a downhill, exacerbated by lineup changes. Sure they didn’t sign without more stuff to release.

I thought their last single was one of their best songs tbh.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

After a while one just becomes desensitised to various inaudible screaming. Same on creating these, like how many types of constipation sound can be made? This is the reason many western metalcore bands softened up in the mid 2010s.

honestly while deviloof had quite some very akward inbetweens I always felt they did a pretty good job altogether to add more melodic elements occasionally to make things feel more different to each other while still feeling Deviloof

I’m sure what you said about the lack of consistency is what draws me to them. I’m waiting for their next release

These „constipation sounds“ are honestly the main reason I got into this type of music in the first place:man_shrugging: i love deranged, inhumane sounding vocals

You don’t have to be a fan of them if you don’t want to. They’ve been improving whether you like it or not. I personally like the direction they’re going with their music, the production quality has been improved by so much and their sound has been getting heavier and heavier. I don’t like how they’ve partnered with universal music group however.

Why I write so much about them is because I was so hyped for that goujin song and recommended them to everyone, pandoras box is also a masterpiece. I just want them to get back to making really good music and not generic tracks.

Not bad actually. The first part has the silent hill f vibe

I remember reading an interview somewhere where they said Damned and Song For The Weak were an attempt to reach broader audiences but they realized their mistake and starting with Inshuu and continuing with this single are meant to be a “course correction”

Their outfit doesn’t complement with the setting. The background deco looks like a Chinese depiction of 18 levels of hell while their outfit follows western black metal style smth that Behemoth members would wear
