It was expected. Maybe some~fans~ will go crazy and bother those who just want to watch the show.
I wouldnāt want to be next to someone who shouts in my ear every minute. Then I could get aggressive with the person, because at concerts you have to realize that itās not just you watching the band. Thereās a boundary and space between you and the other person. Being pushed without reason, for example.
About fans using their phones to record the concert. Totally unnecessary and here we go again on this subject of using phones to record.
I got sick of being shoved around and losing my spot so at the last show in London, I just stood a bit further back. You can let everyone fight for visibility while you enjoy the show ![]()
Lenses are the godsend for gigs.
Although, will probably have to find a spot to not stand out like a lighthouse, lol.
Feels like 2009/2010 all over again.
Hot take: Yes, those shrieking fan girls from the early mid 2000s were Dir en Greyās biggest cheerleaders and contributed greatly to promoting them to Western media. However, those metal bros are currently what separates Dir en Grey from other VK bands who have given overseas expansion a try and they are the main reason why multi-stop overseas tours like this one are still feasible.
A smart band knows how to cater to both demographics, and knows how to pick their battles. People taking photos, videos and jostling others around is pretty expected for a non-Japanese audience. Sometimes, people get a bit vocal and not always at the āappropriateā times like at Japanese shows.
Those of you who attended Polandās and Franceās shows so far, Iām still a bit confused about the ending SEs.
Apparently, on Polandās day 1 it was Rinkakuās Slumber Mix and on day 1 it was Kamuiās piano version.
And in France, they used Kamuiās piano version yesterday, as can be heard here: https://youtu.be/WXPIGFLrfOs?t=530
I supposed nobody here got any of the Poland ending SEs on video to help me clarify it? For now it looks like they mistakenly played one of the opening remixes at the end of Polandās day 1ā¦
least insane degheads
This is exactly what I will be doing Monday and Tuesday, though am pretty tall so can see alright from pretty much anywhere. Haha.
Kyo just went live on insta. I can only tell from the comments what he said because I was in a noisy place without headphones so no chance to understand a word.
But apperently he was angry that people took videos of his privious insta lives. No idea why, tho.
during slower songs in Warsaw, especially on Uroboros show, it was so quiet you could literally hear someone cough through the music. But during fast songs, when band gestured towards us to just make some fucking noise, it was wild. It was a good vibe.
Thats exactly how it should be imo.
He gonna have to suck it up and get over it tbh
Kyo is such a diva sometimes lmao
Sometimes, I really donāt understand Kyo. Man can be a huge diva.
Glad I am not the only one who did not get why thatās a problem for him. ![]()
he is nearly 50 and Japanese, web can be tough for him.
I dont get him either, like heās always acting super serious and then he gets on stage and just goes full on mental. Kinda the total opposite of him being his usual super serious/trying to be cool self. Weāve all seen the love clips where he goes full stupid, like wtf is this about? Seems like he is two different people. Haha.
Exactly LOL! Heās a strange guy. He was being funny with Shinya on Twitter one moment, the next he was yelling at fans for screenshotting his IG live. It wouldnāt be Kyo if he wasnāt acting like two different people, thatās his charm, I guess!
Welp, Kyo should have realised it earlier that you canāt really apply āno photo/screenshotā rule to insta lives.
It seems they brought some managers to London (Fujieda, Takabayashi and someone I donāt know). Plus, Masuda was already in London and he took some photos of the Islington Assembly Hall.
I hope this show will warm me up because itās cold af.
Also, if anyone wants to say to my face that TIW sucks - im in a dark blue jacket & with black bag lol
