I’d usually agree with you, but I really wanna see Die in a Pantene Pro-V commercial. Papa Kaoru looks like he has a hard time eating cashews lately.

that would be :fire:

Finally opened my wallet and picked up the blu-ray version. Since customs here take forever, i had no expectation to recieve it anytime near the release day anyway

Really stoked to hear this. The new song sounds good so far.

I’m going to Japan at the end of the month, so I’m going to wait to get the deluxe version there. Do you think they’ll still be in stock?

Til then I’ve gotta live with the digital only version.

Why tease many song when one song thrice do trick?

This part looks even better than the first two. Lokking forward to the MV and the album even more

The other look also really cool and the music video looks so much better than The Devil in Me.

MORTAL DOWNER<通常盤>/DIR EN GREY samples are out now  I sense a lot of TOOL in most of the riffs so far.

@geist you got me here. ADADGBE all over again :frowning:

EDIT: Hizumi to Ame sounds like a much more somber type of Sajou no Uta / Sukekiyo banger.

EDIT 2: the second half of the album is getting math-ier to me, think of DEP, more accessible Converge. “no end” sounds like as if “Un deux” was made into a final song of ARCHE instead of being the starter.

EDIT 3: I hear a lot of Deftones too.

Sampler

Very very interesting. I could see a little TOOL influence in there. Unfortunately, Shinya is no Danny Carey.

The general sense I’m getting is the band is softening their sound somewhat overall, while still retaining some heavier tracks. Perhaps emphasizing mood vs. aggression?

Who knows! We’ll know by tomorrow.

some of this sounds like caveman music but i’m really liking the atmospheric electronic sounds. soon we will have the verdict!

The samples are quite promising! Toshiya seems very present here. Cool!

They legit all sound pretty good to me, imagine what they’re going to sound like when it isn’t horrible preview quality!

Cannot wait to take an edible and listen to this album tomorrow night
