Today, DIR EN GREY announced their new, 12th full-length album. Titled MORTAL DOWNER, it will be released sometime in 2026. They also announced TOUR26 Downer Absolutely No One to be held from April to May, and a two-days live at Tokyo Garden Theatre in July 2026.

Yeah I def had a moment of “c’mon…” when I saw the title, but I’m not taking it as any indication to the music itself. Remaining optimistic
I got to see them in NYC for the TIW cycle but when they came and did the 3 MODE OF shows that was allllllll the way on the other side of the country from me. I couldn’t swing the time off AND the travel and lodging AND the concert ticket itself at the time 
Yeah I was really disappointed about those MODE OF shows because I wanted to see all of them but on god I will not go to Los Angeles.
