Ignore the “black metal-esque” part of my post then. Basically what I’m saying is Shinya has never truly locked in with tremolo riffs in the past, and it made songs sound empty and lifeless. He clearly doesn’t have an extreme metal drummer bone in his body, but there’s only so many times he can use the same alternating kick-snare pattern in a heavy section before it gets old.

From the samples I’m interested to hear 響, 御伽 and カムイ in full. My tastes are simple and I need a pretty straightforward melody to latch onto 
And they started posting samples on their insta story.

More songs are always welcome, but at this point I don’t hear anything new based on these previews…
Strongly hoping I’m wrong though.
I listen to them since I’ve discovered Gauze in 2000, peak DeG imo was Uroboros and DSS (especially the extra CD from the Budokan Live with all the symphonic versions).
Give me more Vinushka-like songs in length and quality, I’ll be happy anyway.

I actually didn’t like Uroboros, and even now, maybe half. I am missing too much.
I think Arche was great as well. Insulated World was weak AF overall imo.
