DIR EN GREY new single "19990120" release

Wow, was not expecting that.

WHAT IF they restart their career and just remake everything starting from the beginning? DIR EN GREY is cool and all, but bring back “Dir en grey”!

If so, I could legitimately hope for -I’ll- and GARDEN remake.

This single could be a good April Fools’ joke because it’s hard to believe they would return to their early VK era and put old unreleased footage from 1999 on Blu-ray. Most people would think it’s fake and would be very surprised when it’s out for real.

put kaoru in make up and costume, and that’s an good aprils fools joke

looking forward about them talk about the release on next weeks, even in december.

I hope the sukekiyo 80s worship has gone to kyo’s head and they’re going to recreate the single like a fucking kuroyume demo

I wish for a new remake of Zan cuz I love that version in “Hageshisa”.

Not sure if this is what I wanted…
Is this a new trend among japanese rock/vk bands? To release old material again.
I have seen it a few times now and LM.C for example has swifted over to only release old songs going forward.
And now DeG… in before all of them starts doing the same…

Funny that you say this Deshabillz just released a Collection album on streaming services with new recordings for most of the tracks if not all on the album

If they ever remake -I’ll-, they should release it with this anime OP in Blu-ray quality too.

a-knot releases aren’t sent off to sony for distribution.

I’m kinda curious what kind of PV(-s?) we’re getting for this one.

the era of filming those in europe is long gone, but maybe we’ll get something to commemorate the former fame.
