Agree yolo. PIERROT and DEG were/are mine and my wifeās favourite bands respectively. Would make a pretty sweet present!

You guys make good pointsā¦unfortunately, Iāll have a crap ton of other expensive shows to pay for, so I canāt blow the cost of a monthās rent on Androgynous. But, I will be putting in for both shows. Wish me luck.

No wayā¦ Thatās a bit much imo as much as I like pierrot I think a ticket of that price should come with a little more than what it currently offers.
Iāve been to so many Dir en grey shows, but Pierrot?? Iād kill for a ticket, but Iād settle for the footage! I was so obsessed with them. A friend sent me Torikago back in the day, and from there I downloaded their whole discography off rotation sites and WinMX Always wanted to see them do Mad Sky and Mass Game live

Iāll be going to day 1 of this. what album(s) should i listen to from both DeG and Pierrot in advance? Iām not really familiar with either.
I was into Pierrot & Dir en Grey when they both came out but kinda slowly dropped them after the 2000s but some of my faves were the classics -
All of indies era Dir en Grey & āGauze.ā
Private Enemy by Pierrot is one of my fave albums of all time. I also really liked āDramatic Neo Anniversary.ā
Tickets to this concert mustāve not sold very well. I wouldāve been fine with a cheaper ticket but they did a lottery and made me pay for the SS 48,000 yen ticket

i can only truly speak on pierrot, but id attack and finale are very very good albums. and please watch their pvās. theyāre a bit dated, but fun to go back and revisit. kirito was mesmerizing, my gawd!

I second watching Pierrotās PVs, Clear Sky was always my fave. Its like, campy but super interesting? I just love their style.

Oof thatās steep lol. I think Iām going on the 15000 ticket. My spouse is the one who wanted to go and Iām just tagging along. We got ours during the first Pierrot FC lottery.
I was also expecting them to sell out pretty quick. But the basic ticket is already pretty expensive and itās on a weekday, so that might have something to do with it.

My general advice for both bands is to get familiar with singles instead of whole albums first since they have so many songs. Those are the songs that are more likely to get played, too.

The only way I got to do it was through lottery and my top pick was A I think. I know someone who chose SS as their 7th pick and they āwonā that
