Glad to see a lot of 9Goats Black Out in here. Sink is absolutely an all-time favorite of mine.

probably one of my favourite 9GBO songs. The Chord Progression on the Refrain is perfect.
(hope this still qualifies as Ballad)

My taste in ballads is more towards the cheese ball side, but I think it’s because I grew up having a mother playing power ballads all of the time during the 90s.

Grand Slam - Can’t Stop Belieivin’

Loudness - Twenty-five Days From Home

GLAY - Toki no Shizuku

Hell yeah. Love this song.

For me:

One of the first VK songs I ever heard, and still one of my favorite.

The first song I have listened from RENTRER EN SOI and probably my favorite too (ex-aequo with Zenkei Iro Kusari Hateru Ima, Yuiitsu… that i also love so much).

Here are just some of them. I will probably reply again with more.

RES has some of the greatest ballads.

Couldn’t find a video but I really enjoy Ushinawareta fuukei no yume -UNPLUGGED- from the STIGMATA single.

Of course, gems from dear and beloved Alice nine

Kagrra, are kings of beautiful emotional ballads

aaand

and also this live performance :sparkling_heart:

I have many others from Kagrra, but let’s stop there

I’d also add

this one from DeG just hurts :skull:

Many RES propositions already, but they’re just incredible they deserve it wuuh

and finally ?

the end of the live performance of Yami ni furu Kiseki is sooo :face_holding_back_tears::sparkling_heart:

Ok, i’ll add this one from Kagrra, because i can hehe, but this one not only hurts melody wise, and lyrics wise, it’s impossible to not cry over the very last performance of it on their last live dvd

pretty sure i’m missing a lot of beautiful ones but i’m gonna stop there for now

Kagrra mentioned RAAAH

I love Sarasoju. I prefer the original version though. The remix is more polished, but there’s just something about the original that’s much more haunting. The song Sakura~Saikai No Hana~ is also one of my favorite Kagrra ballads.

As for the last live’s Sakura Maichiru… I wouldn’t know. I refuse to watch it. If I don’t watch it I can pretend it never happened!

wait you still didn’t watch the last live ? :sob: lucky ! I’d love to delete it from my brain just to watch it again lol I know every little expression, every little choreo that Isshi did, every little smile they had, and some of their songs really almost sounds even better in that live than in studio ( RIN !! Urei !! Shizuku !!!Koiiiii !! :sparkling_heart::face_holding_back_tears: ) felt like an out of body experience, a true journey lol

But I can also understand that you’d not want to watch it because that’s too much emotions and it’s impossible!! to not cry during Ouka Ranman and Sakura maichiru oka de :frowning: :frowning: :frowning:

also

( a lil ballad from our gazeboyz yeaay )

I started watching it and then stopped right before the last song. That was like 10 years ago. I’m never watching it till the end! I’m still in denial.

understandable :frowning: hurts as f !
In a certain way it’s quite poetic that you didn’t finish the last live performance, it somehow feels like they didn’t really " d word " in a way :sob:
