Some of my favorite covers are probably predictable.
Starting with nothing huge and spectacular, but i like the combination of some color and all the black with straight lines
Sailing before the Wind have managed throughout their releases to let that water and sailing topic come through again and again. Several releases include photos with water as cover. I like the little nudge they do towards the bandname a lot.
ovEnola’s Left behind, the cover actually reminds me of ghibli, like a dark and twisted version of Laputa
Also i like that you can see the structure of the canvas it was painted on apparently.
Abstracts Siena cover picked up their original cover of their first album, where the original instrumental version of Siena is in top
