Femme Fatale Iori Minamoto diagnosed with cerebral infarction

Femme Fatale made an announcement today.
"Notice to Our Customers

We would like to inform you that Iori Minamoto, a member of Femme Fatale, has been diagnosed with a cerebral infarction (ischemic stroke) and Moyamoya disease (Willis Circle Occlusion).

Fortunately, thanks to early detection, his condition is stable, and he is currently hospitalized for further examinations.

After discussions among all the members, including Iori himself, we have decided that the one-man live show scheduled for Friday, May 2, 2025, at Shibuya WWW will be held with the four remaining members, without Iori Minamoto’s participation.

We sincerely apologize to all the fans who had been looking forward to the performance.
Details regarding ticket refunds for those who wish to request one will be announced later via each member’s social media.

Additionally, a special Iori Minamoto postcard will be distributed to all attendees.

As for future activities, the members will make an announcement during the concert.
We deeply apologize for the inconvenience and concern this may cause, and we greatly appreciate your understanding and continued support.

Sincerely,
Femme Fatale Members and Staff"

i highly doubt that they’ll continue without him, given his diagnosis. it’s like the first hiatus all over again, but worse

Honestly (sorry for my ignorance), I don’t know how long it will take to recover … maybe they could announce their return and that they already had a established program, but everything will be postponed to when Iori heals :downcast_face_with_sweat:

this is so terrible, they’re plagued with so much troubles given that musically it’s one of the best projects most ppl involved in it ever produced.

I hope he’s taken good care of. 5/2 is a powerhouse date for starting new plans/commencing major activities if u’re in astrology and similar stuff, I’m glad they didn’t cancel at least ://

assuming he’s hospitalized now, it might be not that long - it really depends; he’s on a younger side in terms of age, and Japanese are quite healthy overall in terms of complicating health factors, but he def will be recommended to abstain from performing and physically exercising for a while.

iori has posted about what happened to him.
“Hello, this is Iori.
I’m sorry for worrying you with this sudden announcement.
I am currently fighting a rare disease called “Moyamoya disease.”
That being said, I was only diagnosed a few days ago, so I don’t fully understand it myself yet.
Hime, Tana-chan, Tosshi, Fumin,
I’m counting on you to take care of things from here on.”

“Right now, I can’t even type properly,
but if all goes well, I might be able to return in about six months, so I want to do my best and not give up.
For now, I’m using Google to write, but I will do my best to be able to express my words in my own way.
Please, I’m counting on everyone on May 2nd.
I’m in the intensive care unit, but I’m with you all!
And please let me have my rematch later!”
