It’s good that they are making the seriousness of the situation clear and pointing out the legal aspects of the whole thing.
Maybe some fans really did not understand that filling out the application of bands they would like to see by themselves was not the intended way.
But I’m sure most of them knew exactly what they were doing but might not have been aware that it is actually illegal. They probably didn’t think that far.
I’m sure ALL of you were eagerly waiting for this…
Good news, there will be privileges for the two european bands, too.
You can get a handshake, a photo and a signed poster from Souffre for 25 Euros. A handshake and a photo (no signed poster here) from Imperial Age will cost you 60 bucks.
While the pricing for Souffre seems totally fine if you like that band, the Imperial Age one seems…optimistic.
I was already kinda feeling bad making scenarios in my head of smaller japanese bands not being able to get many M&G or pictures resa, but damn. Gotta feel bad for french bands i don’t know about as well.
The price for Souffre seems nice and fair, but for Imperial Age… I wish I had their selfsteem
For that price they should include like one merch piece at least.
I wonder how many bands they plan to announce per day from March 23 to March 27. At first, I read it as a “one band per day” thing but the math is not mathing when there will be five finalists after the first voting round
Not happy about only having March 28 to vote as I will be on a festival this weekend with a busy schedule and maybe bad internet connection
Even though they didn’t release anything yet (Unless I missed it?) out of these, I’m rooting for Geigotsu seibutsu gunsyu. I saw amber gris in Paris in 2011, let’s keep it going lol
Ohhh me too, also ex Dio members!! I think this could give them a good boost, however they don’t even have any music released, so I think it will be hard for them.
Akai yurei sounds promising, ex vocalist of Tokyo sennou.
Affective synergy is the band of ex zodia vocalist and ex brodiaea bassist. Had no clue they were still active.
Some bands don’t seem to have any chance in my opinion, but the mix doesn’t seem that bad in general.
