i like lynch.'s music so i made a list of the amplifiers and pedals etc. that reo and yusuke use or have used. maybe it will be of use to someone. i have also included plugin and preamp pedal options for those who want to replicate the sound of their amplifiers but lack the money to purchase them. sources = ysk’s instagram, reo’s blog entries on ex-pro, and various live clips.

this is not an exhaustive list, but it covers much of their equipment.
reo and yusuke both tune to b-flat standard by default. for yusuke, he’s tuned to b-flat standard like reo but with a high e-flat string… other songs may use other tunings.
I found this on reddit. Someone asked for the guitar he is using and apprently it’s a Donner HUSH-I. A foldable 300 Euro “travel guitar”. Is this his main guitar now…? Can’t imagine it sounding good for a professional musician who has so much guitar experience.
It reinforces my hypothesis that rock is not his main focus, and so the equipment that he chooses is gonna show that.
It’s an electric-acoustic guitar. I have one, and I paid $400 for mine. It’s a passable acoustic guitar, and I’ve plugged it in to test out the electronics once or twice and I got a good sound. But I read online and can now appreciate the viewpoint of musicians who say that if you buy an electric-acoustic guitar, you’re basically splitting the costs between the electric and acoustic components and coming out with a worse guitar overall for it. I can understand that now, even though I’m still glad I have an electric-acoustic.
I do find $300 a bit on the low side, but if it works it works! Interesting how in this case Amazon decided to put a warning on this particular model…
EarthQuakerDevicesJP have a series called Board to Death and Show Us Your Junk which sometimes feature Japanese artists such as Miya from Mucc and Wata from Boris to show their pedal boards.
