It reinforces my hypothesis that rock is not his main focus, and so the equipment that he chooses is gonna show that.

It’s an electric-acoustic guitar. I have one, and I paid $400 for mine. It’s a passable acoustic guitar, and I’ve plugged it in to test out the electronics once or twice and I got a good sound. But I read online and can now appreciate the viewpoint of musicians who say that if you buy an electric-acoustic guitar, you’re basically splitting the costs between the electric and acoustic components and coming out with a worse guitar overall for it. I can understand that now, even though I’m still glad I have an electric-acoustic.

I do find $300 a bit on the low side, but if it works it works! Interesting how in this case Amazon decided to put a warning on this particular model…

Seems like it could fit in a travel compartment and be easy to carry around. He likely has other guitars too!
