I used to lurk on Monochrome Heaven but I’ve just signed up here.
I’ve been a J-rock fan since my middle-school years in the late 90s (I’m old!). I got started due to my exposure to anime and I like everything from pop rock to metal.
My most beloved bands are L’Arc~en~Ciel and Luna Sea, but I also love Asian Kung-Fu Generation, Dir en grey, Kuroyume, Laputa, Luna Sea, Malice Mizer, Plastic Tree, Siam Shade and X.
I’ve been out of the loop for a while and have no idea what bands are popular now but recently I’ve been listening to King Gnu, Kinoko Teikoku, Sakanaction, Soutaiseiriron and Tricot.
