HAZUKI WILL TOUR THE US!!!

Well, kinda… lol

It is a bit embarrassing for me to say this since I am not even a pro gamer, but I wanted to share this message to prevent anyone from feeling left out or hurt.

I will be competing in EVO 2026 in Las Vegas at the end of this month.
However, I kindly ask everyone to refrain from asking for autographs, photos, or handshakes at the venue.

If we happen to run into each other completely by chance during my private time, I am happy to sign or take photos (as long as you are respectful!).
However, when it is known in advance that I will be visiting a specific location, I have to stick to this policy.
Thank you so much for your understanding.

I hope we can meet on an overseas tour someday.
Thank you all for your continuous support.

Idk why this is kinda weird to me. I get he wants privacy but i’m not sure he’s known enough in the USA to get hounded. Maybe he just wants to gamble in peace haha

Lynch does have a decently sized English-speaking fandom imo despite it being scattered. I think he was probably going to announce he was coming in Japanese anyway, but was probably trying to cover all ground just in case, and allow him to focus on competitive gaming in peace, in line with what you’re saying!

Would be fun to see Hazuki come up tops! Seems like he’s an Akuma main in Street Fighter.

I also feel like it’s counterproductive. He could have just styled differently, wear a cap or whatever and not announce it/talk about it (or only afterwards) and I doubt anyone would have recognized him (or at least not to the point of certainty to ask him for an autograph lol).

But his wording makes it feel like his label/management made him write this:

If we happen to run into each other completely by chance during my private time, I am happy to sign or take photos (as long as you are respectful!).

Maybe it’s a contractual thing (from his label/management??) that he can’t do this as “Hazuki”, but if he’s “off duty”, it’s fine? I don’t know, it sounds like a legal disclaimer
