Hey guyz

Hey everyone, my names Lee. I’m 29 yrs old and live in Las Vegas.

I’ve been a Vkei fan since 2009, but have been out of the loop for some years. I used to frequent forums back in the day, my fav bands are Dir en Grey and Buck Tick. I’ve begun getting into Vkei bands I never listened to before, and am really loving Deadman right now.

It feels great to get back into something that meant a lot to me as a kid. I just recently saw Dir en Grey for the first time in LA and I cried the whole time. It was like a dream come true. Since then, I’ve been heavily back into the scene. It’s awesome to have the money as an adult to spend on things I wanted as a kid.

Anyway I’m having lots of fun and I’m happy to be back, I’m so glad it’s still going strong and I’m excited to be part of this forum :3 thx

Lol yup. It’s fun reading all this discourse of VK over the years, especially since I dropped out of the scene for a while. I’m catching up right now. I stayed listening to my top bands, but stopped dressing the part and keeping up with new bands. I’m glad I found this place :3

What are you favorite albums by those three? (Diru, BT, deadman for clarification)

For Diru that’s a tough one. I’ve been listening to them nonstop since I found them, so I really just go through phases of listening to different albums more than others, or based on what I’m doing at the time. I think Withering To Death is my most listened to album though.

Probably a popular answer, but Darker than Darkness is a genius album that I’ll never get tired of.

Since I just got into Deadman I am completely obsessed with in the direction of sunrise and night light. It’s a masterpiece.

I used to listen to a lot of the GazettE, but never really entire albums, just scattered songs here and there. Malice Mizer is also an obvious favorite, especially since I got my husband to really love them too.

That is my favorite album and my first album when I discovered them in 2005. In the Direction of Sunrise and Night Light is tied with Site of Scaffold for my favorite deadman album. I honestly don’t have a favorite album or era of MM; it’s too difficult to choose since each era is so different.

Yeah, it’s super nostalgic for me so I listen to it the most. I’ll have to listen to Site of Scaffold next. I just love Mako’s stage performance and the way he moves around and even holds his mic, he is so amazing to watch.

I struggle to pick a favorite Malice album as well, though if I had to pick it would be Bara No Seidou
