They used 活動を休止する which means to stop activities/take a break (instead of 解散/disbanding). So it could easily mean both, especially in combination with the tour name.

It has been announced that HOLLOWGRAM will bring their approximately 13-year career to a close following their performance at Shibuya ReX on January 17, 2027. The “LIBERATION” solo tour, scheduled to take place in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka starting in December 2026, will serve as their final tour before the hiatus.
Since forming in 2013, HOLLOWGRAM has remained active through live performances and the release of new material. However, as they reached their 13th anniversary, the members engaged in repeated discussions and ultimately decided to put a temporary end to the band’s activities.
While the tour title “LIBERATION” literally translates to “freedom” or “release,” it also embodies the members’ intention to mark this period as a pivotal turning point as they move toward their future endeavors.
