How many live concerts have you attended?

If you were counting how many vk/j-rock/j-pop lives did you all attand so far? You don’t need to list all of them but I would be courious which/when was your first, your most recent or which upcoming lives you plan to see.

I have been to 47 lives so far. Including Festivals that had japanense artist and counting coupling tours and stuff as one live.

Have been to a mental amount of gigs, mostly metal over the years and cant begin to list all of them. For one I’ve been to 4 fests just this year… haha. As for Japanese/vk specific, actually isnt too many considering I dont live in Japan but on my travels did see a few which is nice! Obviously seen Dir and The Gazette because they do get overseas. VK bands ive seen in Japan is DIMLIM (when they were still good), Darian Marian, Sheep Sleep, Darrell, Mamireta, Jiluka, Shellmy, Minus Jinsei Orchestra, Merry Badend, IGGY, Jigsaw and at least one more but I cant remember who they were, remember what they looked like but nothing much else, anyone else, if there was anyone I have forgotten for now. Haha.

Would really like to get to a RAZOR or NAZARE one man show one day as well! Seeing a lot of bands is cool and made some discoveries for sure, but the bands i really like were just over too soon so would rather go see just them and get a good fix. Haha.

I went to very few real concerts

Lacuna Coil once, and Epica Twice

Oh god. WAY too many. I’ll just list the japanese ones, the whole list is there

Not annoying at all. You are just answering the question of this thread  I said you don’t have to list all but you absolutely can.

Thanks! It was a fun historical record exercise honestly.

Dir En grey: 5 (maybe 6, can’t remember)
Gazette: 2

1 each for these:
Sukekiyo, Dadaroma, codomo dragon, minus (-), sugizo, ensoku.

I’d really like to see more, but I’ve rarely had money for concerts or travel. Kicking myself that I didn’t see D’spairsray or Versailles when they came to Los Angeles. Hoping to see more in the next 5 years when I can travel to Japan more.

I’ve seen Dir en Grey twice and ONE OK ROCK once.

I have autographs from An Cafe and Alsdead but I didn’t attend those shows lmao

I also have An Café authographs from a signing event but I did not attend the concert

I’m probably at 25~30 or so since I’m not really picky if a show is affordable and looks fun. Plus I live in a city that gets a ton of Japanese artists, including some pretty obscure ones because of some local events.

First Japanese concert: DIR EN GREY
Most recent concert: HARU NEMURI
Next show: probably Vicke Blanka, but I’m not 100% sure
Seen the most times: MIYAVI (3x), umbrella (2x), Kinoko Teikoku (2x)

I’m not the biggest MIYAVI fan, but he comes here really often and I have a friend who likes him and asked me to go with her twice.

Some popular bands I’ve seen: X JAPAN, B’z, metronome, RIZE, MAN WITH A MISSION
