I went to Paris to see VK history, and all I got was this heatwave.

I felt this a lot.

Re: the photo thing, yeah, I don’t particularly like this “banned but not really” approach. From either the bands’ or the fans’ point of view.

I didn’t hugely mind the photo-taking this time, because the only bands where people were really obnoxious about it were the ones I didn’t care about too much (coughs i :zipper_mouth_face:) but if those had been my favourites I would’ve been more frustrated.

But I still don’t like it as a rule, as a thing to do myself or when people are in the front with their cameras up standing motionless doing nothing else (coughs this cold is getting worse). If the band are OK with it and you’re not in the front where one would expect (although this was not true at this event) the “participating” fans to be, absolutely! (I also saw someone with a phone up in the Jiluka pit, seriously? do you just like wasting money :joy: )

I can’t remember how we ended up talking about that  so sorry it was not a more pleasant theme…

Like all the cool things you saw in Paris and your insane time management skills you must have.

That was me
But my name is Josi, not Julie, and I was accompanied by my boyfriend, not husband :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: But I get it, it was quite loud out there with the DJ behind us.

Ahhhh, sorry Josi. Guess my hearing was pretty shot.

I had forgotten about the first name but remembered the name here. It were so many names that day.
Next to me @null was sitting at some point. I don’t remember when exactly, just shortly after the conversation had transitioned to German and she asked me whether I could scoot over a bit so she could squeeze herself in, she did in German and I didn’t even realize this until I had agree, of course. xDD The constant skip between three languages in my head that day made me not really realize transitions sometimes.

Can’t believe they built such a huge place just for Versailles’ appearance at b7klan festival and even named it after them!

don’t understand why they didn’t just hold the event in the palace, if they’d gone through the trouble of building it u_u

No worries - when I talked to @CervaCannibale and her friend, I sometimes also had to concentrate really hard to understand them due to the background noise. At one point, I said to them that having a conversation there is like playing broken telephone/chinese whisper (or “Stille Post” as it is called in Germany) :joy:
