Sakito posted this:

“I had a shoot the other day. Look forward to it~”

Since it’s under his main account, it must be for Jakigan, right? Right???

I suspect it might be from all those viewings of Kokuho :joy:

Saw that, thought the same thing.

Maybe a single with a tradicional japanese style?

I’ll be super excited if it’s a bit like traditional Japanese style with a twist!

At first, when I saw the neon sign, I started thinking of 80s music (a la GTA Vice City radio kind of 80s), but when I saw this, I started thinking, like, yeah, we’re looking at another kind of neon altogether.

The first thing that came to mind for what it may be like was Omodaka, the side project of famed DJ Soichi Terada, specifically because of the visual language of the Plum Song MV.

If there is even a tiny similarity to Terada’s stuff, I might flip, but of course, this is just my delusional thinking, given that the sound is so different from Jakigan and again, Kokuho’s heavyyyyyy influence on Sakito. I look forward to being surprised, though!

I could see Sakito doing something like this musically.

Maybe the visual direction is contrasting retro aesthetics? one in a electric city style with traditional kimono like costumes?
