Japanese Proxies: Who to Use, Who to Avoid

Consolidate Packages is probably what you want.

Yeah, but you can only do it after u order amaik.
but I do want to do it before so that’s I do not have to pay shipping for each single item when they could be shipped all together to them

I think that is up to the seller. I could be wrong.

Mercari has free shipping so that’s not an issue ^^ Not sure if buyee does that but if you can specify additional request, you may see if they could ask the seller to list the items in a separate set. Sometimes you can get a better deal this way.

Hi, may I know if there’s any shopping proxy who can ship to a domestic Japanese address? Since I already have a domestic Japan address that I would like to ship to, I just need someone to purchase some stuff for me from the online stores that do not accept foreign cards.

Scanned through all the replies but didn’t really find an answer, how long does GJ usually reply? I put in an order for a cd 3 days ago and mistakenly filled out the form again today bc I forgot I did already…

I’ve been using dejapan for a long while now, that one is great too

FROM JAPAN will change their fees prices!

Change of Handling Fees (for orders and bids placed on or after July 31st, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. JST)
(Old) 300 yen per item

(New) 500 yen per item

As we are experiencing historic levels of yen depreciation, depending on your payment currency, you may not actually experience a large increase.

Three years ago (as of July 2021), the exchange rate was 1USD = 110 yen, so if converted to USD, the fee is almost equivalent to the fee at that time.

Example: Exchange rate as of noon on July 4, 2024 (1 USD = 161 yen)
JPY: 500 yen → USD: 3.10 dollars

The handling fee will remain 300 yen until July 31st, so if there is an item you want, now is your last chance before the price increases!

Despite the impacts of unprecedented exchange rate fluctuations, global fuel price and overall price increases for items in general, we have made this decision after careful consideration in order to continue providing our customers with excellent service as always and to implement further ongoing improvements.

In other words: “Since the exchange rate is now in your favour, we feel comfortable hiking up the prize to make more money off of you”

Too bad, I have been using them a lot lately. I might have gone a bit crazy when I realized all the releases I could only dream of as a teenager are now just a few clicks away and easily affordable with adult money lol.

Not really, since FJ has the lowest fee if compare with others. a few has 500yen per item + extra fees. while u FJ u need only pay the proxy fee and sometimes domestic shipping.

I don’t think the two are mutually exclusive  But nice to know they are not going to be more expensive than others after either so I can keep using them now that I am already used to it.

depends! FJ allows u to change the invoice prices for example and others not.

I am never using ECMS again.

I ordered some items off Mercari as always and chose ECMS shipping this time around. I was out of town and lately USPS has been fucking with me and not delivering my packages, so I didn’t want to risk the package not being delivered. Or even worse, the package being stolen. Plus, it was a little cheaper so I thought saving money would be great too.

I should have just let it sit in the warehouse a bit longer. It’s been in LAX for a week and no movement. If it was EMS or Buyee Air, it would be here already. ECMS is trash.

I am never using ECMS again.

EDIT: Coming back later to provide more details. Based on this experience, it seems that there are two different places to check on the status of your package, and they tell conflicting information.

ECMS has their own portal that tells me one story:

At some point, ECMS spits out a 30 digit number that’s a USPS tracking number in disguise. Plug that into USPS portal and you get a different story:

So if you want to have no idea where your package is, choose ECMS!

And the irony is…I’m still stuck with USPS!

no ecms anymore :skull_and_crossbones:

I see thank you! So do you lost anything or still using tenso?

Personally I got 3 packages via Tenso the last couple of months, still working properly and keeps the “put the price you want for the items in the package” option, which is useful if you are receiving the stuff in places like EU that got so strict about customs…

which site or who can i buy/pay i need someone for gametrade.jp please help

You could try FromJapan.co.jp they can get you stuff from nearly every webshop or auction site in Japan. Just copy the url of the product you want into their search bar and they should be able to get it for you. Keep in mind you need to pay a fee (500 yen per item) the shipping( depends on were you live and which shipper is avialable) and you will need to create an account.
