I think that’s totally fair. From what I’ve seen, their setlist hasn’t changed much so they’re just coming back to play the same songs + KVLT.
I’m kind of over the initial excitement as they’re not offering anything new. I’m seeing bands like Deafheaven, Feeder, and Rolo Tomassi for less money than this.
That’s basically free. I assume getting booked for festivals means that they pay for their flights etc, so they can offer the tickets for their own concerts cheaper.
I have seen some post on twt from imminence fans saying they really liked Jiluka so hopefully they will be gaining more popularity outside of the vkei scene with the festival appearances too.
Warsaw at 30% is pretty bad, but the tickets are nearly 40 euros and they’ve already been here twice in within an year while dropping almost no new music
and the Swedish gig is underpriced at an absurdly low 18 euros, I’d go if it wasn’t in the middle of week, which makes it difficult with work when I’d have to take a holiday to make the budget flight at odd hours.
Only flying them to EU must cost alot, I would imagine they keep the staff to lowest amount possible, do they bring their own equipment? (maybe a stupid question, not very well informed on things like this). In either case I can imagine that isn’t cheap either.
Sure the members will have alot of fun but I just cant imagine the tickets making up for all costs, and making it a nice financial trip - especially not now as everything has skyrocketed in price recently.
They more than make up for it in VIP and cheki sales. They certainly wouldn’t be going overseas, often to the same cities, this often unless they were making bank.
