JILUKA announce US TOUR 2024

do we need a brand-new thread maybe?

Surprised they’re back so soon, hopefully tickets aren’t too expensive but wouldn’t be surprised if they’re similarly priced again.

But honestly V-Kei bands need to tour together instead of going on solo tours, or if they attached themselves to other j-rock acts touring like SiM and Crystal Lake did together.

I agree. This is a new leg of the tour so it should get a new topic. Please continue to use this topic as if it was the old one, but the band needs more visibility for the US tour. Spoke to someone yesterday and they didn’t even know that tickets were on sale!

Oh yes, tickets are on sale. Go get some!

Huh? Why was the discussion about the show in Helsinki (Finnland) moved to “Jiluka announce US Tour 2024?”

I have to split it back. Will do later.

Less than a month to go. Who is going and to which dates?

Did they stalking our Forum and learned to play shows with other artists??

Ofc Vegas gets a V-Kei artist but LA is stuck with a local band very few will care for :sob:, no hate to Eight Cold Heils but at the 1720 show, I legit just saw people not really caring or giving energy for the opening bands or even worse complaining about people jumping and moshing.

Ex. Ecthelion? Okay!

But what about the tour final? Anything special planned for that?

1720 was especially rough because we had to wait through 3 openers :weary: I get that it was supposed to be like a festival, but when ~90% of people are only there for Jiluka it doesn’t feel like it. I enjoyed 2/3 of them, but I gotta save my energy, man, I can’t go all out the whole time :sob: Complaining about other people enjoying the openers is dumb though

I’ve gotta say, I hope ECH has grown a bit as a band. When I saw them open for ACME a while back they were pretty green  Jiluka seems to draw a bigger crowd so the pressure is on

I felt the same when I saw ECH with ACME, like the first 2 songs were rough for them and the crowd but they got into it after.

Hopefully all goes well for them, although I would’ve loved if they had Last of Our Kind opening, they were absolutely the best of the openers for Jiluka and really brought the energy to get the crowd to open up a mosh pit.

They’re supporting Imminence on their whole North America tour together with Landmvrks. 22 dates. That will give them a big boost.

Yes! Amazing. I’ll have to debate whether Toronto or Minneapolis makes more sense.

This is the path Dir en grey walked a long, long time ago. This is huge news! I never thought I’d see the day a vk band does tours with American bands other bands in America!

This is great that they’re opening for other bands, figured they’d take this route since their first European dates were big festivals

It looks to me that Imminence is Swedish and Landmvrks is French. I wonder how this came about  Bands from 3 different countries coming together to tour the US, music truly is global :purple_heart:
