JILUKA new digital single “KVLT” will be released at 2025/02/16.
Live-limited single “KVLT” will be released 2024/02/23.
Somebody buy these boys a new keyboard, on each single a new letter seems to be broken.
Sad stuff
Seeing them live was fun as hell! But I am a little concerned about how listenable the album is gonna be if KVLT sounds as overwhelming as the past three singles.
Can’t wait!
They should’ve just name it “kvnt” at this point
Ricko: “NEXT SONG!!! FUCKING C*NT!”
As always the guys, except Sena, look great but the title is fitting for this weird cringey edgy aesthetic they seem to be going for recently. Hope the song is decent, last few singles have basically been exactly the same song. Haha. Blvck was fun when it came out because it was a fresh sound but following songs were literally the same. Haha
Is it bad I can see him saying this
Also hoping for a new sound instead of bloated techno metal. No offense to them or anything they are a great band but damn their recent songs felt so congested.
I’m all in for an wall of noise, but they need some variety cause these songs are overwhelming
I want them to keep escalating: more over the top, more bloat, more blegh, maybe less incoherent rambling about fakers and more ‘slay diva fabulous ate left no crumbs clock it THE HOUSE.’
What happened to the ‘new phase’ they were apparently launching into with Last Faith, before going down the EGM route? Or have I just made that up?
Bloody love that song.
Haha i dont know. They have shifted styles a couple of times, i feel even now they havent entirely decided on “their” sound. Xanadu basically covers the periods which i consider the “Jiluka” sound, especially the dvd part! I dont even know what their goal is atm with their actual music, BLVCK was kinda like a more brutal, breakdown heavy version of what they did before but mixing way more heavily into the electronic and even trap style parts is just all over the place and tbh just sounds silly and like they are trying to fit too many ideas into a single song. If they did an EP or whatever focusing more on each idea and making it more coherent i actually feel thatd be interesting as each song would have a point to make each song on the release unique.
I hope they mellowed down a bit in their new single. Their songs are too overwhelming.

Tomorrow it is!
I feel like they started as a Deluhi ripoff before finding their niche. Like you say, the EGM era is kind of a more extreme take on their Xanadu era, but it’s obviously catapulted them into the limelight.
Although the new stuff is a bit samey, I’m here for it, and it’s insane live! Venom is overplayed on my daily playlist but I can’t get enough XD
Yeah they defo have done well since going for this style so guess theres no reason for them to drop it if its working for them.
They’re better live anyways so I know that mosh will be fun live
