the majority of nerds would rather listen to techno and anime music videos then broaden their horizons with an actual concert. The benefit is not having to smell the ones that actually attend because they usually stand at the back of the room with their ear plugs in.

I agree that Jiluka is a brave choice as a guest for an anime convention. But I really wonder about the average us con goer you describe. In germany all the anime cons seem to be 90% girls/women (who shower).
