Rest in peace Kei.
I really really wished for him to become healthy again…
Rest in peace, Kei
This is so sad. Dio was the very first vk band I ever discovered, not even knowing what visual kei really was.
I remember I thought Kei looked so cool and he ended up being my favorite member of the band.
You fought hard Kei, now you can rest in peace.
RIP
Man RIP Kei, you’re a legend
RIP
May he rest in peace.
RIP
Fuck cancer
This is brutal. RIP.
Oh my gosh, Kei…please rest easy.
I was reading his twitter account. He actually seemed to have a positive attitude
and was hopeful to get better despite the condition that he was in. Honestly makes this more sadder to me. He was a guitarist legend and will be missed. R.I.P Kei
Last single Dio made during thier limited revival:

Saw the news on X yesterday just as I was going to sleep, I cried my heart out
it hurts even more to know how positive and optimistic he was. Wish I’d have sent him even more messages. Anyway, Kei, you fought well now rest, and thank you for the memories
Kousei (ex. GHOST) replied to the tweet too:
“It’s already the 49th day.
How is your paradise?
I told you this many times the other day, but thank you so much for meeting me. Thank you so much for creating me. Next time I won’t cry anymore. Let’s laugh our heads off again.
Thank you Kei-kun.”
I was so lucky to see Dio on their overseas tour. It was in Germany. I I greeted the band and i said ‘hello,’ and kei replied ‘hello’ with a smile. They autographed the T-shirt and smiled again because I had bought 4 T-shirts haha
It was great to see you Kei, rest in peace…
They had some nice songs, I liked their more melodic ones. I don’t know if it’s because I was a teenager, but their songs made me travel.
very sad news.
way too young to go from such a horrible illness, rip.
Erina dedicates a few words to him on her X account
“I have so many memories with Kei-kun… to be honest, it’s incredibly painful.
Back in the Dio days, we were always together like family, so I’m at a loss for words.
I said it the last time we met too, but I know the battle with your illness must have been really tough.
Please take it easy now.
You did well.
Thank you for everything until now”

Ivy, the former bassist of Dio, also shared a few words:
“You were the one who taught me how fun Monster Hunter could be.
Someone who, regardless of our age difference, always treated me as an equal.
One of the precious friends who helped shape the person I am has gone on ahead.
Memories of the intense days we spent together in the band.
I’ll carry all of that with me and continue living each day through music.
Thank you for being in the band with me”

Damn, what a loss… I have fond memories of listening to Dio, great band with great guitars. R.I.P.
That is such a blow. RIP.
