This is not actually how law works, least of all in Japan. There was never a criminal case against him but there could be many reasons for that. There often aren’t in domestic abuse cases after all. Ofc we will never know for certain what happened but I have to say that in his case the receipts we do have are pretty damming. Add to that the fact that almost everyone who has worked with him long-term seems to no longer associate with him like @Leo said and it doesn’t paint a very flattering picture of his character.

Please don’t take me at all serious bc i live in the US, do not know what i’m talking about, and have only heard hearsay, but the hearsay i’ve heard circles around something like:
Japan cites 99% prosecution rate in part by only taking and prosecuting cases that are near sure convictions.
Compared to my country i’m familiar with, a lack of Japanese prosecution isn’t as strong an indicator of allegations being untrue or unfounded.

There was also the rumour of him asking people he knew to bid on stuff he put for sale on eBay, to make the prices go up.
But all of these were “funny” and excusable. Pathetic, but funny. I wish it stayed at that.

We’ve known each other for almost 20 years (Yuki and I).
Four years ago, Yuki had throat cancer and underwent surgery; now he’s not satisfied with his voice. The song was recorded, but he isn’t happy with how it sounds, with his voice exactly.
No, I’m not there with him recording the album but talked with him yesterday about his song.
I’ve known Kisaki for just as long. The accusations against him are lies and total bs.
The comment appeared twice because I was replying to two different people.

dat plot twist xD then again, his name wouldn’t be listed here unless he actually recorded something with him. it won’t be out till March of next year, so they have plenty of time to either tweak stuff out or Kisaki will come thru with a dramatic announcement about postponing stuff like he always does
