He seems to have recovered, but must need money for medical bills. He’s started his own “online salon” which is basically like what everyone else has with exclusive diary, photos, fan interaction for a whopping 5,500円 a month or $35. That’s more expensive than every member of DIR EN GREY and Mana combined.
