This… does not surprise me. I’ve heard enough whisperings and rumors that I kind of expected something more concrete like this like this to come out eventually.
Also, it sadly does not surprise me that she was ignored by the fandom-at-large.

I guess I don’t hang out in the right parts of the internet to hear these rumors. This is all news to me! I do believe her because she has a lot of proof and the proof aligns with the story. Now I can’t listen to Aliene Ma’riage the same way anymore.

I heard a similar story about kyouka a long time ago, though i think the general consesus back then was that the girl telling it was a crazy person. Pretty sure its unrelated to this incident though.

As to why she waited so long to come forward again, I think it has to do with the influx of minors into the overseas fandom. A lot of them may like that some of the bandguys actually respond to you, unlike the big K-pop idols that are managed by staffers.
Unfortunately, many of the guys that start responding to random kids messaging them take that as an opportunity to be predators.

Not just that, Aliene Ma’riage, specifically, has also been gaining distinct popularity amongst new young fans, so it’s not inconceivable that Kyouka could take this as an opportunity to start this shit up again with a new crop of possible victims.
