Night Flight
Travel around the world on a night flight
Transcend time and space
Enjoy the world of Lacrima
Asia, the tropics, ancient Italy
A route through the past, present, and future
The moment you encounter a good old new journey
You can hear KOJI’s guitar from somewhere

I went to Koji’s memorial live last year (the one where koji’s son made an appearance) and Taka made a surprise appearance on the 2nd day, which is the one i went to.

He only did 2 songs but he sounded great. He didn’t sound like someone who’s been retired for 10 years at all.

Is it though? At least in Europe, seated concerts are quite rare for non-mainstream bands and the price is pretty much average nowadays.

So for me, standing at a concert and buying a ticket in this price range is totally normal.

Definitely in Europe, but not in Japan.

Bands like lynch. (7000) and MUCC (9000) have similar prices, but it seems to be more a vk band thing. Indie rock concerts are often less than 3000, but around 4000 on average I’d say.

Lacryma was huge back in the day so i’d say you’re better off comparing the prices with pierrot (cheapest ticket 12,000) and luna sea (also around the same). Those are seated though.

Nightmare also charged around 9000 for standing after their reunion and before this year if im not mistaken. This tour is 8500 for standing btw.

I’d say prices are on par with other big bands.

Oh wow, I wish it would be that cheap in Europe, too

I wonder why there is such a difference. Are renting locations much cheaper in Japan? Or are people less willing and/or able to pay more for concert tickets?

I think in the US tickets are even more expensive on average.

But I guess I’m getting off track from the actual topic of this post, sorry

I’m paying like 4-5k yen… (if I’m not in guest list🥲)
Japan nowadays is high prices and low salary, so an average worker as me isn’t ready to pay a lot, plus if you’re going to see liveshows more than once a month, you’re spending 1/4 of your salary on tickets. Imagine if all the liveshows were over 7k yen… OH…. oh no no no

I don’t have to imagine, that’s reality for me lol
Around 4 shows a month on average (I have 6 this month for example) , everything is at least 7k including all the misc fees and such. Some shows are even more expensive. That’s just how it is when you follow big bands

Two-three years ago I went to see my bands ~3 times per week, and now I’m asking myself how it was possible, physically and financially :sob: (sweet times before 自宅ローン:melting_face:)

Your house loan must be really expensive then bc in my area the house loan payments are generally cheaper than the rent im paying lol

130k, including monthly management fees…

that’s what i pay in rent right now :skull: excluding management fees lol
and i don’t even get to own it one day lol
