this is exactly how i feel. just glad hyde’s voice still sounds solid and the music is consistent. no surprises, this is something i can listen to on a drive to work!
it’s a really odd song, there’s absolutely nothing going in the chorus, and verses are borderline forgettable, but the instrumental track is actually way better than anything I expected from l’arc at this point.
they kept the heavy intro part for the anime cut, which is surprising too since I’m not sure when was the last time major anime series had rock-driven OST.
hyde still sounds great, too.
Yeah, it’s a pretty bland and phoned in song. Although the intro is cool everything else is just generic and uninspired but I guess that’s how it is when the band hates each other.
This is just to make people talk ( like Yoshiki ). If they really had problem between them, they won’t show it on a documentary. They are japanese.
Yeah its like they are not even trying anymore.
Its hard to believe these are the same people who made drivers high, dive to blue, blurry eyes etc. It hurts my heart to see what they have become.
(Damn I love so many parts about this song, especially the base line is crazy. You experts, is tecchan’s bass in this song as difficult to play as it looks/sound?) One of my favorite lines in VK, ever. The bass is half the song.
underrated reply lol I mean right? imagine if they still talked!
Whatever the people who join hate bandwagons say, always good to have L’arc doing anisons ~ if only half of anisons of the 2010s+ sounded like this
Not having heard any L’arc or Hyde in a long long while, the new song is nice. Definitely still has the sound. I feel like going back to L’arc en ciel rabbit hole after this.
Yeah, not bad and the PV is nice too. A little air of survival game here.
