Guitarist Io (イオ) (ex- ZEAK → Rext) passed away on July 25th 2021 due to unknown illness. Here is a rough translation on the event by the bassist, Yun (ゆん) who was also in Rext at the time of activities:
"The other day, Rext bands Gt. Io passed away.
I have contacted as many people as I can to the extent that I was deeply involved with him before his death, but since there are many people whose contact information is unknown, I am deeply saddened to report this in this way. I would like to express my gratitude.
I myself found out yesterday through a call from an acquaintance, and I don’t know anything other than that he died from illness…
Because of the coronavirus crisis, I think that funerals, wake-up, etc. are already done only by relatives.
I would like to express my deepest condolences and pray that his soul may rest in peace…"

Just a small ascertainment in your database, it’s seems to be missing Koji (ex guitarist of La’cryma Christi, ALvino…), he is dead the 15 april 2022 of an oesophageal cancer. You did a great work by the way. Congratulations!
