He lipsyncs some of the difficult parts because he has voice issues. Sometimes it’s not so noticeable but Sometimes it can be really obvious

Both. They’ll pitch correct the parts he actually does sing lol. Either that or he sounds very :grimacing:

It’s a shame they’re letting the man sing like that

Yomi lip synced a lot in the Not The End final. Ray of Light, Gianizm 2, Can You Do It, Errors, Sessou are the ones I can think of which is probably forgivable. But as of late he doesn’t really do it anymore which makes me glad. He lip synced the low notes in Raven Loudspeaker which I don’t get why since he sang the chorus a whole step down. But aside from that it was entirely live. And their birthday lives were 100% live.

It’s not just the difficult parts. I saw a performance where Ryuichi lip synced the entire chorus of Rosier and then at the “Rosier” part he literally only lip synced the word Rosier but would sing the rest of the verse :skull:

At this point, there is probably too much money to make for the band to stop. It’s a pity because the rest of the band is doing great. To continue with his new voice is a bit damaging Luna sea with this kind of performances.

Honestly in some songs his new voice is better. Like I For You. Sorry but prime Ryuichi on I For You just doesn’t sound good. But that one 2020 performance ? Absolutely phenomenal. Had it on my playlist until YT took it down.

Oh really? I don’t really notice it most of the tine (bad musical ear lol) but i saw them yesterday and it was really obvious. Ryuichi’s speaking voice was super hoarse so it stood out. I actually had no idea it was a regular thing, and i’ve seen them loads of times. I feel so stupid now haha

It seems like They replaced his voice on many parts. And they are trying to hide him on the video. It’s crual. They should stop their activities for the moment until he feels better. It’s an humiliation to continue in this condition.

Yeah not sure if they dubbed it over or if he is lip syncing but there is definitely some lack of congruency there.

Also whoever tried to autotune his vibrato needs to be fired :skull: he has a wide and slow vibrato and you can hear the autotune not being sure where to drag the note
