You are so fast at posting album info and as a big fan I refresh very often to get something, wp ! x)
Very nice PV they put a lot of effort, probably their best MV in terms of visual i think ! Finally something out of a garage or random studio place. It’s fresh. Too bad the green screen during in front of the statue scenes is too obvious and not quite right.
The song is solid, generic from them yes with a typical break and structure, but there’s a lot of subtlety in the very well-crafted instrumental that makes it particularly enjoyable. As always needs more listening. For a lead track it does what you’d expect.
Can’t wait to hear the other tracks which will likely be more brutal.
Frozen lyncharoni got gratiously microwaved.
Not bad, definitely liked more agressive drumming in some parts.
For the english part i hear something like “I’am freezing blue right now, in this only night” but not sure, any other idea ?
Edit : Hazuki posted mv promo on Instagram it’s « ON THIS ICY HOLY NIGHT » it seems. I don’t here ICY but just on this holy night tho.

Love it! I agree with EvilHippy, that drumming is turned up to 11 and it’s fire.
Also digging the frozen lake setting. Better than typical garageband lynch. fair and really setting the tone for summer.
it’s definitely a lynch. song, just don’t know which album it’s from
Its brand new from this album.
Also this song is a little mid to me. Not bad overall though. Im interested to hear more. ![]()
It was a joke because it sounds like all other songs from the past 15-ish years haha
I feel like the last time a single track got me excited was AVANT GARDE.
But luckily enough I know better than to expect anything less than forgettable, which describes ICE.
Im still stoked for the album.
Not bad, but yeah, it’s nothing to write home about, even though I appreciate the production quality of it.
The recent remake albums make it real clear for me where modern lynch is not clicking for me. It’s Hazuki.
His voice sounds great, but his performance is sterile and derivative of each past work. He noticeably sings higher but I think he sounds best in a lower octave. It has a richness that is unique and he loses that when he goes higher. Same melodies, same cadence, same tired sound.
I actually don’t mind that the instrumental work doesn’t vary too much from album to album. It’s predictable, but gets the job done. They throw around some interesting new ideas in pieces here and there (typically with the guitars). At the very least they go hard.
I notice this to be the case with a lot of bands as they age. Vocalists keep moving higher in octave. Dir en grey does this and so does GazettE. I don’t know why they all have an aversion to visiting that lower octave.
dude, yes. That blast beat Asanao threw in at around 1:15 had me so hyped
Relying on Yusuke to bring something new
please free us from Hazuki’s sound king
Have they posted writing credits anywhere yet? Or do we have to wait until the album is out?
