That’s a horrible and banal setlist for 20 years. Like that’s what they were playing for the last several years.
I’m fine with getting live Madara & Remains… but yeah.
They dropped all those previous lives cuz they knew this anniversary set was gonna be some mid. I see the play….hmm ![]()
Man when are they gonna play shadowz so I can have a live version of it on my playlist
JPU records has been teasing lynch. for a while now. This is from their story:
YOOOOOOO?!!!
I knew they always has that desire, they’d absolutely kill it at festivals and would be amazing with Landmvrks, BMTH, MIW, Bad Omens, Architects, etc. Lynch has the look, style, and sound to mesh well overseas.
It’s weird to see how young VK bands like JILUKA or DEVILOOF (or non VK metal bands like Paledusk) pull off fairly big festivals and Europe tours while lynch. isn’t. Too bad they signed to Okami Records/GAN SHIN back then who have disappeared completely with covid. I think they just need a tour organizer who’s willing to take these overseas chances other take.
I don’t know if this would still be an issue, but Hazuki was once asked about his willingness to tour overseas. I can’t remember exactly what he said but something along the lines that he couldn’t because he don’t have the necessary identification papers. It didn’t sound like he was particularly keen on it ![]()
I don’t blame him. But, correct me if I’m wrong, but despite the love I see for lynch. online, I’ve never seen a real hunger for them to come overseas, even in forums. If that has changed, and they’re willing to satisfy that hunger, I’m down. It also helps that Japan is supposedly willing to dish out more resources/funds for bands to do overseas stuff.
I feel despite their size in Japan, the are very niche in overseas fandom…like the opposite of some of those band that tour Europe more frequently. Would be nice to see them around though.
I think it was there in like 2007-2010-ish. They even were signed to Okami records/Gan shin after all. After that time I feel like they weren’t that popular overseas anymore (additionally to the general decline of vk back then).
Considering how THE Nightmare struggled so hard to fill the venues last year, I’m not sure if lynch. can pull this off.
Did they? The concert in Hamburg was very full.
Well, because they canceled 4 dates of the tour and downgraded the venues.
I had a ticket for Munich and traveled to Hamburg because of the cancelation and the gig in Hamburg was supposed to be at Große Freiheit at first (capacity of 1600 vs. 700 of Kaiserkeller).
Ah, I forgot about the cancelations.
I remember The Große Freihait/Kaiserkeller thing, but I assumed it was just a mistake and to have the concert in the smaller venue was the plan from the very beginning. Confusion between these two locations happen all the time as they are in the same building. There were multiple times I helped tourists with that issue ![]()
