Speculating about the tone of this one, I can see if the situation continues without him contacting them or them not having news about his state/whereabouts, the band is starting to consider kicking him out. The deadline seems to be feb 7th

Even with the popularity the group got I still would say usagi could be pretty easily be replaced with another vocalist who simply brings a similar enough aesthetic to the table for the band to still feel same enough.
Well, that’s if the manage to find someone to fill those shoes. The overseas popularity of this band hinges entirely on the fact that they were serving looks, especially the vocalist, and the musical collage of tropes came far behind in second place.

I doubt they can find a replacement for a unique voice like his although it would be interesting to see it
I believe that 80% of tickets sold in Germany for their one-mans was solely due to Usagi as he’s the perfect material for reels and tiktoks
Utena committed violent acts against certain members of the band, trashed band equipment, and sent one or more people into mental break downs. The band stated that they could not find any way to improve his behavior, and each member felt a sense of crisis about his behavior.

It was Usagi when he went by a different name way back, he was in a band called DEGENE, they released one thing and he was fired for those reasons above.

Is there any proof? It’s hard to believe that four man couldn’t communicate with Usagi, and Kakeru and Mime have been working with him for over two years (if I’m not mistaken)

DEGENE Announces Member Dismissal
Thank you for your continued support of DEGENE.
DEGENE has an important announcement to make.
DEGENE will be dismissing [SING:蕚] following the live event at Shibuya REX on Tuesday, September 26, 2017.
As a result, DEGENE will be temporarily suspending activities while we search for a new vocalist.
The singer’s behavior, including verbal abuse toward specific members and his general attitude and behavior, was deemed unacceptable as both a vocalist and a band member.
In addition, he was seen treating each member’s beloved equipment roughly, sometimes to the point of causing damage.
Despite repeated warnings from each member, primarily for the reasons mentioned above, we saw no sign of improvement. Each member felt a sense of crisis about his repeated problematic behavior, so after careful discussions among the four of us, we have come to the decision that we can no longer continue working with Utena.
We deeply apologize to all the fans and stakeholders who have supported us up until now for making this announcement.
Currently, we will continue to perform with just the five members, including Utena, at the live events we have scheduled.
Although we have little time left, we will continue to work hard as DEGENE, so we appreciate your continued support.

This is sudden, but I am truly sorry that we have to temporarily halt our activities for these reasons.
The circumstances were such that we were forced to take this action due to the severe emotional distress caused by vocalist Kaede, as well as numerous problematic behaviors.
However, this is not yet completely over.
Even if the band name changes, we plan to return to the stage again.
So please wait for a little while, we will definitely be back.
