Lyrica Vo. Usagi has gone missing and has been found + Lyrica is disbanding after March 13th

Wonder how this one will end

Nooo not Lyrica not Usagi.

Hopefully he’s alright, and hopefully they’ll accept to let him in again. ( which is not always the case when a member goes missing )

Sadly, members who cut contact with their bands are a common thing… but with an important band’s frontman, the general concern gets amplified. I hope he is okay and we can get positive news.

He last posted 6 days ago my first thought wouldn’t be “yeah were going to perform without him in 2 days” my first thought would be “is he okay? the members cannot get in contact? does anyone have his phone number? anyone know his family? did he say anything at the last live?” nobody goes missing for 6 days without warning and it ends up being good news unless they in trouble

Like I get it he’s a band guy but also I for one would be sounding an alarm if someone is missing for more then two days

Does anyone remember the name of the band where the guy was missing for a similar number of days and they finally found him crashing at a friend’s place ordering pizza with the band’s business credit card?

I believe that was UNDEUX

They still haven’t been able to contact him so their live planned tomorrow will be held without him

Wonder what vocalist there will come bail them out, if any?

would they even replace the vocals ? or it would be one of the members themselves.

Anyway, newbies on Twitter are gettin’ all hateful and raging toward the other members and staff on the official page, but from my own experience, the " missing members " are usually not in a good place mentally ( aka anxiety, depression ) when they decide to cut communication with the band, and they just go hermit in their parent’s house… Never saw a missing member leading to something truly horrible. Hopefully it’d be the same for Usagi please please please

they usually just play playback of the actual recording of the song

dunno why 12 year olds are going crazy over this

Sorry, but this is honestly funny. Most of the replies to tweets and the comments on reposts are made by foreigners :sob: Every year we talk about basic manners and beg people to write in Japanese at least using a translator, but twitter folks are just fxkin unteachable.

I can understand that this may be a first reaction from an international fandom that are genuinely concerned but runs with their own logics that barely “aligns” with the manners and etiquette in the local scene, adding that it’s from a band that is popular overseas and the missing member is the vocalist. But sometimes the comments are very rude. demanding things, blaming the band isn’t doing enough to find him etc…

I assume most of them are teenagers and there are a many of them who haven’t been VK fans for very long. I don’t think they are aware of that kind of manners and see everything from the perspective of their respective country.

They probably see the internet as a place where everyone, including japanese people, are able to speak and understand english anyway.

Seriously, they’re soo edgy and clueless in the reposts it’s pissing me off.
If you’re a VK fan and overall a japanese music fan you know there is a way to talk and express yourself, not like a ganster who’s blaming everyone and everything ( on top of being rude to the other members who are chosing to perform saying things like " we don’t give a sh!t about the live call the police " :skull: :skull:

at this point it’s not even about english it’s about thug slang and overall rudeness. Totally possible to be polite in english too

This reminded me of the golden age of last.fm, when Mexicans would write to a random person in Spanish as if it were the most natural thing in the world, lmao

Of course, but we are not talking about reasonable adults here

No disrespect to usagi. I honestly hope he is okay and it sucks this happened but this event makes me wonder about his past activities. Why was he fired from his former band DEGENE? Is this something from the past coming back potentially?

I could also be completely wrong and he could be okay. However the history and this event has me concerned. O-o

This has trickled down onto my TL, and the responses further my stance. Twitter is not a place to expect ppl to be cordial/respectful. For every-one sensible person, there’s 2-10 trolls/folk who are escalating a situation for the fuck of it.
