Such a great news!
I got to know Mamireta when a friend of mine recommended them to me a couple of years back, when they already broke up. I was sad when Bue disbanded, but this could be a good new start!
I already own Iku (that’s how it’s read, right?) on CD, so always good time for a spin

I’m excited because Mamireta put on the best show of any indies VK band I’ve seen….
But I can’t be the only one that thinks basically all the songs they released after that first collection album were exceedingly average.

I believe that is the reading yes. Also by far the best release theyve ever done. I still spin that fairly regularly. Haha.

I think I remember him leaving early because of family issues so I’m glad he’s back for the redux!

This goes hard as fuck. All the rhythm changes, that weird and dissonant guitar line and spastic vocals…chefs kiss. Reminds me of the excitement of their early work (and plenty of nods to early MUCC as well).
Do we know if the songs on the album will be redone or remastered in anyway?
