Where did you hear these rumors?

I definitely got the host vibes from him what with his fashion and (seemingly) young age but didn’t expect him to run a bar damn

He’s been labeled as an Illegal bar owner who cant remember his own lyrics on one of their tanuki threads lmao. Apparently Handa is a narcissist?

must be hard remembering some ghostwriters stuff.

8 posts were split to a new topic: Visual Kei and Neurodivergent Personalities

Its not that he quit he forgotten about it completely due to this other personality. It is very sad actually :disappointed:

I was talking about the first time he was diagnosed and had to step down from the band.

I havent read everything as joining this topic far too late but didnt Mio of Nazare claim he had mental health problems at one point?

And non VK… fucking hell, you heard of Mayhem, Shining, Xasthur, Leviathan, Silencer??? Thats just a starting point. Honestly, and it may sound kinda morbid to say it but sometimes i feel like people with mental health issues are actually a good thing for music as it often comes across very unqiue, honest and sometimes down right fucking dark and disturbing like noone else can do.

Yeah that was the reason why NAZARE broke up when they did. As for the other bands you mentioned I haven’t listened to any of them in a long time but I was a big fan of them when I was growing up, especially MayheM and Shining, I remember having the Shining V: Halmstad CD and playing it all the time, definitely recommend them.

Maybe revisit and go on a nostalgia trip. Hehe.

I think when it all comes around, things like this are the same in whatever country/music scene. But its indeed true that being mentally sick its seen as more shameful in japan, china and korea, thus people don’t search help and do the worst thing in many cases. Thats why its great they make dramas like A Daily dose of Sunshine recently to take away the stigma from it, or at least try to soften it.

Also, its difficult when there is one open position at a company and thousands of people are fighting for it…

Here a semi menhera grown ass woman
You comment really touched me since I’m a active bangya and yup I can confirm what you say, from the side of a girl who got into this bandman weird addiction.
Actually I won’t consider myself as a mentally Ill but I’m neurodivergent Au/ADHD , and my fav vkei bands have been my special interest /hyper fixation my whole life, and coming to Japan to experience the vkei scene have been kinda dangerous somehow. Ofc I could say they bring me happiness most of the time, but I have found myself buying cheki and satsuekai instead of going to the doctor when I need it hahaha

When you are into this and see the other girls spending 50,000 yen just at one concert , in merch and satsuekai , you think you are the healthy/ normal one, but then I remember I moved to the other side of the world for this.

there is a happy side and the sad side
It’s kinda like a drug . here menthal health is so stigmatized, there is no space in their mind that you could spend those money in therapy instead of those men. But here I am very close to be in the same game as the menhera girls.
