today i learned of an idol group called Merry Bad End

(there was a vkei band with that same name)

they have been caught ripping off another idol group called Lovesick (らぶしっく) with similar costumes/visuals (Merry Bad End on left, Lovesick on right). it’s weird because mbe posted these before lovesick, but lovesick has been using the same kind of backdrop in their artist photos for 2 years (!!!)

If I was a parent of a teenage girl, I would die of cringe if she was into this kind of bands :sob:

There was a time I really wanted to get invested into idol groups. But truly beside the like 10 groups who have interesting marketing and gimmick.
Everything else is falling together into one singular slop.
