If im not mistaken there is another new song they have been playing at their shows lately, weird they didnt include it here to make it look like a real EP and not something like a maxisingle

i am doing a lot of catchup on their releases over the last few years but i feel the same.

It’s weird to think Karma was released in 2010, which means they’ve been doing stuff I like less for more years than stuff I like. Trust me, I’ve tried to listen more recent of their releases and even though they’ve sometimes leant to heavier songs, I’ve never really been grabbed by any post-Karm album. I really doubt this new EP makes any difference to me.

Imo they have released some real bangers, 99 is one that first comes to mind. If you have missed it please turn on highest volume in your headphones and watch the pv

It is always funny when the usual slightly heavier than the A-side B-side VK acts would do in their indie time suddenly all turn into Mandopop ballads when they turn major.
invader’s pretty solid
I would say its really good, the instrumentals are great, great verse and the chorus is really catchy (I feel its a chorus that will grow on you as well)!
October is a bit boring tho, they have made better ballads.
Satochi wasn’t involved much in composing and lyrics anyway though

Im the only one having some déjà vu feeling with invader (specially the chorus)? Dont remember the song name, but sounds veery familiar to some older song from them.
The chord shifts of the vocals in the chorus reminded me of Houkou a bit
