wow, thats way too much, before it was possible to get it for 4-5k, which was pricy but in a normal range. And that is even the version 1 not the 2.

4-5k is a good price, actually, given that the original price was 6k+
Insane price. A Japanese fan I’ve met on Twitter gifted me all of their old MUCC merch including dozens of CDs, cassette tapes and the MUCC man lol

Is it just a regular player or can it record onto an sd card? sorry for the noob question but i’ve never used a casette player before
Regular cassette player with mini (lol) USB, so you can rip the cassettes on your computer. Even comes with a software CD rom. Haven’t used it though haha

u got the CD ripper for smartphones too?
Ive only used it to listen to MUCC’s and Zigzo’s tapes and thats it, never tried the USB thinggy to avoid messing with the cassettes
Is just a very plain player, looks nice but cost like x2/3 times what would cost without the mucc stuff.

Nice look, I like it better than most of the previous ones (though maybe is more generic).
Look is fine, can’t wait to hear what this will sound like. My guess is a real summer song - light poprock..? But a real killer ballad would be nice to, like “Feather” which is one of their best ballads (and songs).
The look Feels very much like a utagoe mixed with horizont 2.0? i was a bout to say freesia, but not that much.
Definitely is going to be a ligther song. i hope they go for those built-up ballads, with tatsuro screaming at the end.

Btw does anyone know how good mucc’s sales are these days? how many sales did for example their last album get (I know many stream but japanese people love to buy)? Is it possible to know that somewhere?
You can check on the oricon website/ranking. To see the actual sales you need to check it during the actual week…or If I´m not mistaken, subcribe to oricon services. In pure sales 1997 seems charted for 6 week but debuted at number 24, 2222 copies that week….being optimistic (very) maybe a total of 7-8k copies in the long run?

I don’t know if Oricon counts the sales for the fanclub exclusive version, I may say yes( or who knows), but the demographics in sales for the “public” versions are definetely foreign fans and casual listeners. They also have many unofficial sales because their marketing strategy is to release stuff available only at lives, or only in pre order for the fanclub or like most recent case, for YUKKE’s Bday, hes releasing a maxi single under the name 【La’Mucc】. I guess is becoming a common practice for long stablished bands, to keep it profitable after their golden days.
